Troubleshooting
Destination folder already exists
This error message is displayed when the folders used by fatstash already exist, preventing a new installation from creating them. This can happen if you already have Fatstash Pro installed, or if a previous installation of Fatstash Pro was interrupted and/or unsuccessful.
Please navigate to the Plugins page of your WordPress dashboard and remove any existing instance of Fatstash Pro that you see there.
If you do not see any instances of Fatstash Pro on your Plugins page, you will need to manually remove the files so that a fresh install can proceed. To manually do this:
- Use the file manager system in your hosting control panel or an FTP client.
- Go to the wp-content/plugins folder and find the fatstash-pro folder.
- Delete the entire fatstash-pro folder.
- Once that is done, clear any caches on your site, then try re-installing Fatstash Pro.
Download failed. Unauthorized
If you attempt an automatic plugin update on your site, and receive the message that the update failed, the solution is usually simple. Most of the time, this means the site you are trying to update has not been authorized on your license.
- Go to your fatstash → Global Settings page.
- Click Enter New License.
- Insert your license key and click the Save License button.
- Return to your plugins page and try the update again.
- If the update still fails, go to the WordPress Dashboard → Updates page and try the update from there. This page will include more detail about why the update is failing.
- You will see a long url used to download the plugin. Paste that link into your browser (without the trailing ...). What message do you see?
If the download works with no problem, your site may be blocking communication with our site. how to whitelist our IP.
Styles missing after update
If you notice your form styles are not displaying correctly after an update, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- Navigate to your fatstash → Styles page.
- Click the Update button to save your style.
- Return to your form and refresh the page.
- If re-saving the style does not help, you may need to clear your browser cache, and clear any optimization/minify caches on your site.
Requires Fatstash to be installed
Please note that since version 3.0, Fatstash Pro requires Fatstash Lite to be installed. Both plugins must be active on your site and are designed to run side by side. Fatstash Lite should install automatically along with Fatstash Pro, but if for any reason this does not happen you can manually install Fatstash Lite.
The easiest way to install Fatstash Lite is to follow the steps below:
- Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins page.
- Click Add New and search for fatstash.
- You can click Install directly from the results on that page.
frm.min.js file is missing

- Temporarily deactivate your security plugin.
- On your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins page, deactivate and delete both Fatstash and Fatstash Pro. Note: All your existing forms data will remain intact. You will not lose any data by following this procedure.
- Install and activate new copies of both Fatstash and Fatstash Pro.
- If your forms are working correctly, reactivate your security plugin.
